Train with purpose every season. GR8’s seasonal hockey programs are designed to build skill, strength, and confidence—whether you’re preparing for tryouts or pushing hard in the off-season.
GR8 Athletics offers structured hockey training programs across all four seasons to support consistent, long-term player development. Our seasonal approach allows athletes to train with intent year-round—whether they’re entering pre-season, maintaining in-season performance, or building power and precision during the off-season. Each phase is tailored to meet the physical and mental demands of that time of year, ensuring players train smart, avoid burnout, and continue progressing on and off the ice.
Prepare to hit the ice strong with our focused fall program designed to build momentum before the season begins. Athletes work on explosive starts, edge control, puck confidence, and aerobic conditioning to ensure they’re game-ready by opening day. Our coaches prioritize sharpness, stamina, and smart movement to help players stand out early.
Ideal for: Players preparing for team tryouts or early-season performance
Timing: September to November
During the grind of the season, our winter program helps athletes stay consistent, recover properly, and continue growing. We support in-game performance with lighter, technical-focused sessions that target mobility, mechanics, and decision-making. This program is built to complement team play—not compete with it.
Ideal for: Active youth and teen athletes in-season
Timing: December to February
Spring is the season to reset and refocus. After a long year, we dial in on cleaning up habits, rebuilding strength, and introducing new skills with clarity and intention. Whether you’re bouncing back from injury, transitioning between levels, or just ready to grow, spring is your time to lay the groundwork.
Ideal for: All ages coming out of a season or preparing for summer
Timing: March to May
Summer is where big gains are made. Our most intensive training block includes high-tempo on-ice sessions, off-ice performance work, and position-specific drills designed to prepare athletes for tryouts and next-level competition. From structured camps to focused small-group sessions, this is the phase where players separate themselves.
Ideal for: Competitive athletes preparing for AAA, prep school, or next-level hockey
Timing: June to August
